Roman De Angelis takes GTD pole at CTMP
Pfaff Motorsports settles for fifth in GTD Pro and Mik Grenier fourth in GTD
Half a second separates all five entries in GTD Pro and Vasser Sullivan #14 Lexus RC F GT3 took pole for tomorrow’s 2h40m race with a fastest time of 1:15.029. They edged #79 WeatherTech Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 by a mere 0.074s. Third is #23 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage GT3 (1:15.341).
Klaus Bachler was at the wheel of the Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) and came up with a best time of 1:15.584.
In GTD, Roman De Angelis took pole by 0.030 over #12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 driven by Fkanck Montecalvo. De Angelis’ time was 1:15.478.
Third place went to #1 Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 with a 1:15.595s.



Mik Grenier ended his qualifying session in fourth place having set his best time on his penultimate lap. His time of 1:15.670 was 0.192s from pole.
In LMP3, #13 AWA Racing driven by Orey Fidani came in second place with a lap time of 1:13.355 and the sister car #18 driven by Anthony Mantella came in fourth with a 1:13.682s.
The race will be starting earlier than usual for the Chevrolet Grand Prix as the schedule green flag is set for 12:05pm Sunday.
