Pfaff Motorsports fifth in practice 2 in GTD Pro as Mik Grenier sets fifth fastest in GTD class
Vasser Sullivan in GTD Pro and Forte Racing Powered by USRT in GTD fastest in their respective class.
Early practice 2 session took place this morning at CTMP as the session got underway at 8am. Teams preparing as much for the race as for the qualifying session to take place this afternoon.
At the end of the hour and 45 minutes practice, #14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 came out quickest in GTD Pro with a lap of 1:14.959. #79 WeatherTech Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 came second (1:15.309) and #3 Corvette Racing Chevrolet Corvette C8.R GTD third (1:15.484).
Pfaff Motorsports finished fifth with a time of 1:16.280 set by Klaus Bachler.
In GTD, #78 Forte Racing Powered by USRT Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 set the fastest time with a 1:15.269 lap. Second was #70 Inception Racing McLaren 720S GT3 EVO (1:15.677) and third #1 Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 (1:15.721).
Mik Grenier and #32 Team Korthoff Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 moved up the timesheet from practice 1 as he set a time of 1:15.784 good for fourth place.
Roman De Angelis with #27 Heart of Racing Team set a faster time of 1:16.019 in the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 which put the team in eight place.


13 of the 14 cars in the GTD class were separated by one second at the end of the session.
In LMP3, #13 AWA Duqueine D08 of Orey Fidani and Matt Bell ended the session in third with a 1:12.109 just over three tenths from the quickest time. #17 AWA Duqueine D08 of Anthony Mantella and Wayne Boyd in fifth with a lap of 1:13.182.

Qualifying is set for 12:45pm this afternoon with each class (GTD/GTD Pro; LMP3; GTP) getting a 15 minute qualifying session.
