Pfaff Motorsports to start sixth in GTD Pro for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen
Mik Grenier’s Team Korthoff Motorsports to start seventh, Roman DeAngelis fifth with Heart of Racing Team and Zach Robichon with the #16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R to start in 15th place.
Mother Nature played its part in today’s qualifying as only the GTD class took to the track for a full qualifying session and IMSA deciding to cancel the remaining class due to unsafe track condition as a downpour came in just before the start of the LMP2-LMP3 qualifying session.
Some cars still ventured on the track but unfortunately the got caught up by the very damp track and sustained heavy damages. It is following those two incidents that IMSA opted to cancel the remaining time on the clock.



As per regulations, the starting order for GTP, LMP2 and LMP3 will be determine by team championship points.
Pole for GTD Pro went to Daniel Serra / Davide Rigon with Risi Competizione’s Ferrari 296 GT3 with a time of 1:44.829. Second on the grid will be #63 Iron Lynx Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 (1:45.139) and third will be #14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 (1:45.297).
#78 Forte Racing Powered by USRT Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 clocked the fasted time in GTD with a 1:44.430. They were followed by #12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 (1:45.203) and #83 Iron Dames Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 (1:45.325) in third.
The race is set to start at 10:40 EST tomorrow morning with the weather forecast predicting rain and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon.
