Porsche Carrera Cup North America Sebring – Two Podiums For Parker Thompson

MARCO CIRONE 11TH AND 6TH AND THOMAS COLLINGWOOD NINTH AND 11TH IN PRO-AM
Parker Thompson finished in second and third place in Race 1 and 2 respectively both times behind a Kelly Moss Racing Porsche Carrera.
Able to hold on in the early laps in each race, Thompson was not in a position to hold on tho the leader’s pace on both occasions. Still, having only confirmed his participation this past Monday, certainly this can be seen as a good results.

Marco Cirone who started fifth in the Pro-Am class for Race 1 had to unfortunate come to pit lane in the early laps and this cost him valuable positions. In the end he ended in 11th. Race 2 looked much better for Cirone who had some good battle during the race. Having seen him last in the Canadian Porsche Cup Challenge, you can rest assured more pace will come from him and his Mark Motors Racing Carrera during the season.
Another Canadian took part in the Sebring race with representation from Porsche Halifax. Thomas Collingwood running with BGB Motorsports finished Race 1 in ninth place and 11th in Race 2. Collingwood competes in the Pro-Am class.
Race 1 was won by Kay van Berlo with the no. 3 Kelly-Moss Racing followed by Thompson and third was Riley Dickinson with the no. 53 Kelly-Moss Racing.
Race 2 was won again by Kay van Berlo followed by Riley Dickinson in second and Thompson in third.
