Mikaël Grenier/SunEnergy1 Racing win Pro/Am title in Intercontinental GT Challenge

SURELY NOT THE RACE THEY WANTED BUT CAME OUT WITH PRO/AM CLASS TITLE
Mikaël Grenier, had qualified the no. 75 Mercedes AMG GT3 in fourth place for the Kyalami 9 Hour held on Saturday.
Early in the race, the team received a drive through penalty for exceeding track limit. Following that, they were shown 3 laps down for a good portion of the race until the team had to bring the car in to replace the radiator. This cost them a good 15 laps ending the 9-hour race in seventh place and second in the Pro/Am class. This second place for Grenier/Habul/Konrad was enough to give them the Pro/Am class title for the 2021 season, thanks to a win at the Indianapolis 8 Hour.
Canadian Mikaël Grenier was in good form over the Kyalami weekend with lap times amongst the top four drivers.
Even during the race, Grenier held the fastest lap at one point. He ended the race with the third fastest lap overall.
