No Time To Rest For Mikaël Grenier heading to Kyalami For Intercontinental GT Challenge

FOURTH RACE IN FIVE WEEKS AND HE ISN’T PLANNING ON GOING HOME YET
Just as the Rolex 24 came to an end, one might think some time off would be welcomed after traveling from Quebec to Abu Dhabi to Dubai then Daytona. That would be 60 hours of racing and add to that the Roar before the Rolex 24 where there were three days of testing.
Not for Mikaël Grenier who is now on his way to South Africa to reunite with SunEnergy1 Racing to compete in the Kyalami 9 hours this coming weekend, a round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge that is part of the 2021 season. It was initially scheduled last December but was postponed to February because of the outbreak of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.
The 9-hour race will be shared between Kenny Habul, Martin Konrad and Mikaël. The same trio that had won the Indianapolis 8 hours in the Pro/Am class in October.
14 cars are on the provisional entry list for the 9-hour race that will be taking place on Saturday at 1pm local time (6:00am Eastern time). The race will be broadcasted live on the Series YouTube channel.
And if you think Mikaël will then go home for a well deserved rest, think again.
