Wright Motorsports Leads GTD In Final Practice Session
FIRST SESSION UNDER DRY CONDITION GAVE TEAM AN OPPORTUNITY TO FINALIZE THEIR RACE PREPAPRATION

Even the sun made an appearance towards the end of the third practice session as teams ran under dry conditions. Teams prepared, rehearsed their strategy and pit stops throughout the session.
In DPi, Cadillac Racing(1:34.732), JDC Miller MotorSports(1:35.095) and Ally Cadillac(1:35.235) were the top three cars.
In LMP3, Andretti Autosport(1:43.594) and the two Muehlner Motorsports America(no. 6: 1:44.384 and no. 26 : 1:44.465) were the fastest and AWA Racing has been working along with their program finishing in sixth place with a time of 1:45.229.
In GTD PRO, clocked the quickest time went to TR3 Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 with a time of 1:46.085. Second was WeatherTech Racing Porsche GT3 R with 1:46.334 and third went to no 14 Vasser Sullivan with 1:46.372.
Pfaff Motorsports finished in sixth place just 0.537s from the Lamborghini with 1:46.622.
Finally, in the GTD class it was Zach Robichon’s new team, Wright Motorsports, who ended up with the fastest time(1:46.399). Last year’s second place finisher SunEnergy1 Racing were only 0.286 behind in second(1:46.685) and in third Alegra Motorsports with 1:46.856.
Roman De Angelis and Heart of Racing finished 12th and Winward Racing’s Mikaël Grenier 13th.
Teams will now complete their last preparation before the 60th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona set for to begin at 1:40pm Saturday.
