Alegra Motorsports Satisfied With The Progress In Preparation For The Rolex 24
NO. 28 MERCEDES AMG GT3 TO START SIXTH NEXT WEEKEND SATISFIED WITH PROGRESS BUT MORE TO COME
Like most teams, Alegra Motorsports ran their own testing program over the three days the Roar allows them. Qualified fourth for the qualifying race on Sunday, they finished in sixth place.
“We maximized results,” said Michael De Quesada. “We had a different balance than what we had in the previous practices, and I know the team is working hard to get our Mercedes-AMG dialled in for the 24 Hours coming up.
The race was the longest stint in the number 28 Mercedes-AMG for Swede Linus Lundqvist; “It was a good qualifying race and good experience for me. We have a little bit of work to do on the setup, but overall, the car is performing well. P6 is an excellent way to start the Rolex 24 hour race.”
The team now has three days to get ready for the first official practice session of the Rolex 24 come Thursday.
