Roar – IMPC Session 5 – Black Swan Racing (GS) And Road Shagger Racing (TCR) quickest – Mark Wilkins 5th
THE FIFTH AND LAST SESSION FOR MICHELIN PILOT CHALLENGE TEAMS TOOK PLACE THIS MORNING AS PORSCHE(GS CLASS) AND AUDI(TCR CLASS) FINISHED IN FRONT
Looking at the timesheet you will find that Porsche 718 GT4 RS CS teams occupied seven of the top 10 positions in this finale session and Audi RS3 LMS the top three in TCR.
In the GS Class, Sebastiaan Bleekemolen of the no. 540 Black Swan Racing Porsche 718 GT4 CS ended the session in first place with a time of 1:52.636. He was followed by Jason Hart in second place with no. 47 NOLASPORT Porsche 718 GT4 CS (1:52.701) and the no. 40 PF Racing Ford Mustang GT4 driven by Chad McCumbee with a 1:52.934.
Overall, with the five sessions combined the top four places are occupied by four different Porsche teams.
Infinity Autosport concluded the Roar 1.4 seconds form the fastest combined times as they ran their program all weekend to get their grips on the Toyota Supra.
Jeff Segal will give the seat back to Kyle Marcelli for next week who will reunite with Sheena Monk for the 4-hour BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona scheduled for Friday.
Robert Wickens and Mark Wilkins continued to explore the potential of their Hyundai Elantra N TCR as both drivers took the wheel during this fifth session. Mark Wilkins ended up with the best time of the two with a fifth place in the TCR class (2:00.553).
Robert Wickens’ fastest time of the combined sessions came during the third session with his 2:00.907.
Quickest time went to no. 61 Road Shagger Racing Audi RS3 LMS SEQ (1:59.606).
