Hour 18 – SunEnergy1 Racing 5th overall – Heart of Racing 2nd in GT4
NO. 7 WRT STILL IN THE LEAD WITH NO. 77 BARWELL MOTORSPORT LAMBORGHINI IN SECOND
A bit of a shuffle with leader as no. 77 Barwell Motorsport split the the WRT Audi R8 LMS GT3. They had been two laps down form the leaders and had been taking that advantage away gradually for the last several hours. They are now one lap down.
Third is the no. 31 Audi R8 LMS GT3 who is now seen two laps down. SunEnergy1 Racing occupied third place just before the hour as driver Jules Gounon brought the car in the pits for refuelling. They are in fifth place three laps down.
It looks like team are getting into their final stretch strategy wise as we can see the pitstop time playing a big role with the standings. More so than a couple of hours ago.
No. 1 ST Racing has lost another lap and sits in fourth place at the moment with Bryson Morris at the wheel. Car 28 for ST Racing driven by Chandler Hull is in 10th place in GT3 24 laps down.
