MIKAËL GRENIER WILL BE JOINING #57 WINWARD RACING MERCEDES-AMG GT3 TEAM FOR THE SECOND ENDURANCE RACE ON THE CALENDAR
Having finished third in the Silver Cup class and seventh overall in the first endurance race at Monza in April with Winward Racing, Mikaël will be joined by the same teammates(Russell Ward and Philip Ellis) for the six hour race at Circuit Paul-Ricard, a track he knows well.
The race is to take place on Saturday evening with a green flag scheduled for 6pm(12pm EST). A 90 minutes free practice session is to take place Friday afternoon followed by a pre-qualifying session at 8:40(2:40pm EST) in the evening. Qualifying will follow the next morning at 10:45am(4:45am EST).
A field of 47 cars is shown on the entry list for the weekend between the Pro Cup, Silver Cup and Pro-Am Cup. More specifically, 14 cars are listed in the Silver Cup in which Mikaël and Winward Racing will be competing in.
We will get Mikaël’s comments after Friday’s free practice session.
