Castrol Continues Its Support Of Simon Dion-Viens For The 2021 Season
DION-VIENS TO CONTINUE IN NASCAR PIINTY’S WITH CASTROL’S BACKING AND COMPETE IN PROCAM SUPERTRUCK SERIES
Simon Dion-Viens and SDV Autosport racing team proudly announce today the renewal of the agreement with Castrol Canada as an ambassador for their excellent products. The agreement will allow the driver from Kamouraska (Qc) to compete in as many races as possible during the 2021 season.
Dion-Viens will represent Castrol Canada while competing in the NASCAR Pinty’s series races presented in the Province of Québec namely the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières on August 15th. He will also take part in the Procam Supertruck series mainly presented at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallée-Jonction (QC) when the schedule does not interfere with his commitment in NASCAR Pinty’s.
“For 2021, despite the economic context that we are all experiencing, I am really happy to continue my collaboration with Castrol Canada,” commented Simon. “I have been working with Castrol Canada since the beginning of my motor racing career more than 15 years ago. I have always enjoyed working with Castrol. I can say that, over the years, we have forged an excellent relationship as well as developed a winning partnership focused on the Québec market. They are passionate about motor racing, as I am, and I am very proud to count on their support.”
“Castrol Wakefield Canada is involved in auto racing with several other Canadian teams. However, we want to ensure a strong presence in Eastern Canada. We therefore understand the importance of increased visibility in Quebec and the Maritime Provinces. Simon has been using our products since the start of his racing career. As he knows our products, we are very proud to have him as an ambassador on the track as well as on social media and during promotional events with our customers,” explains Pascal Daudelin, Sales Director for Eastern Canada.

Simon knows he can rely on Castrol lubricants: “Having won three Quebec GT series championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and a Canadian Supercar series championship in 2013 using Castrol synthetic motor oil and their excellent racing lubricants including the Castrol SRF brake fluid, I know that the choice of lubricants is of the utmost importance to obtain maximum performance and excellent reliability. For me, it is what Castrol products demonstrate race after race.”
“I would like to sincerely thank Castrol Canada and all the other companies who are supporting me in my NASCAR racing program. Since the start of my racing career 15 years ago, I am fortunate to have had the support and confidence of excellent partners who have not hesitated to continue their involvement for 2021,” concluded Simon.
