Sebring Hour 9: Four seconds lead for Robichon
ROMAN DE ANGELIS HOLDING ON TO FOURTH PLACE – MIKAËL GRENIER BACK AT THE WHEEL FOR SUNENERGY1 RACING
The sun is slowly setting at Sebring International Speedway and the last hour saw a short full course yellow that prompted the leading GTD cars to pit. Again, great work from the Pfaff Motorsports crew as they completed their work to send Zach Robichon, who had taken over driving duties, ahead of the #1 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini.
On the restart, Zach stayed ahead and by mid stint had opened up a gap of about four seconds. Jay Heylen, in the Wright Motorsports Porsche, completed a pass on Madison snow in the #1 Lamborghini towards the end of the stint to take second place from Snow.
Roman De Angelis is staying with the lead group, only 10 seconds behind the leader.
Mikaël Grenier has taken over form Maro Engel who completed at least two stints. They are now occupying eight place as the latest full curse yellow was about the #14 Lexus being involved in a collision which occupied third place at the time and had to be brought behind pit wall for repair.
