Sebring Hour 7: Full course yellow brings everyone back together – Pfaff Motorsports in second place
FIRST FULL COURSE YELLOW IN THE LAST 2H45 MINUTES PFAFF TAKING ADVANTAGE FOR FUEL TOP UP
It’s been a constant lead swap between #16 Wright Motorsports and #9 Pfaff Motorsports for the GTD lead depending on their pit sequence and as the full course yellow came up and pits opened, both cars dove into the pits to get serviced. Wright Motorsports Porsche stayed a little longer to get front brake changed and Pfaff Motorsports Motul Porsche came out ahead to lead the GTD pack on the restart.
The #16 now occupied sixth place because of the longer stop. In second place, we find Roman De Angelis who is back at the wheel of The Heart of Racing. Lars Kern is in second place as the lead has gone to Corey Lewis in the #1 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini with a very small margin.
Mikaël Grenier completed another stint at the wheel of the SunEnergy1 Racing Mercedes AMG GT3 before being replaced by Maro Engel during the full course yellow. The team is shown 3 laps down still in ninth place.
