PFAFF MOTORSPORTS MAINTAINING THE PACE AS THE HEART OF RACING HAS QUIETLY BEEN STAYING WITH THE LEAD CARS
Six hours to go at Sebring International Raceway and Pfaff Motorsport have been battling for the lead with #16 Wright Motorsports Porsche. In the last hour, Zach Robichon has been able to maintain the lead over the #16 until its schedule pitstop. Lars Kern took over driving duties for the Plaid Porsche and rejoined the race in second place nine seconds behind the #16 Porsche.
Ross Gunn is currently at the wheel of the #23 The Heart of Racing Aston Martin and is shown in second place. They have been quietly moving ahead all race long.
Kenny Habul has handed over the Mercedes AMG GT3 to Maro Engel. Towards the end of his stint, Habul had an off-track excursion when he lost rear grip exiting corner seven. With the time lost, the SunEnergy1 Racing team is now four laps down. We also learned the complication encountered by Mikaël Grenier during his first pitstop when the team initially lost a couple pf laps. They have been dealing with ABS problems at that time and, although things are better, the system is still giving them glitches at times. they are currently in ninth place.
Current top three: 1- #16 Wright Motorsports(Trent Hindman) 2- #9 Pfaff Motorsports(Lars Kern) 3- #23 The Heart of Racing(Ross Gunn)
