2020 Canadian F1600 Champion Mac Clark successfully stepping up to F4 with a win at Homestead
CLARK PARTICIPATING IN YACademy F4 WINTER SERIES ACCUMULATED BEST OVERALL RESULTS OVER THREE RACES
Up and coming 16 years old Canadian motorsport talent who has recently signed with US based Speed Group, a career motorsports management company who has Canadian Indy Car driver James Hinchcliffe as a driving coach and business partner, competed in a F4 Winter Series in Florida in preparation to take part in the US F4 United States Championship in 2021.
The YACademy F4 Winter Series comprises of two race weekends where teams and drivers compete in three races over the meeting. Seen as a good preparation for the drivers’ upcoming season, YACademy organization’s approach is to help the younger generation of drivers to successfully transition from kart to open wheel racing. As for Mac Clark, he has taken part in the first three races of the F4 winter series at Homestead-Miami Speedway and cumulated a second place finish in race 1, fourth place finish in race 2 and finish on the top step of the podium with a win in race 3.
The next race meeting is to take place at Sebring International Raceway on February 15-16.
