Pfaff Motorsports looks to capitalize on momentum ahead of Lime Rock
DENNIS OLSEN AND MATT CAMPBELL TO REPLACE HARGROVE FOR THE NEXT TWO EVENTS
Coming off a season-best finish at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Pfaff Motorsports returns to the track for the third time in four weeks as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship moves to Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut for round six of the GTD championship calendar.
The Toronto-based squad has finished in the top-10 three times this season, and team manager Steve Bortolotti says the impressive performance of the entire crew, as well as the condensed schedule of late should play well into the team’s hands.
“We’ve been executing on a very high level, and our teamwork has been stronger than ever,” Bortolotti said. “I’ve been very happy with our recent performances despite the adversity we’ve had to face, and I think the quick schedule going into Lime Rock has kept us very fresh and will work well into our hands.”
Dennis Olsen Matt Campbell Scott Hargrove
As the first-year IMSA WeatherTech team continues to test and develop, Porsche Young Professionals Dennis Olsen and Matt Campbell will substitute for Scott Hargrove in the driver’s seat at the next two rounds. The Canadian driver will work with the team outside of the cockpit at Lime Rock Park and Road America and is scheduled to return to the No. 9 Pfaff Porsche at VIR.
“We’re very excited to have Dennis rejoin us again,” Bortolotti said. “He’s an extremely talented driver and will surely be an asset on a two-day race weekend where our entire schedule is condensed.”
