Simon Dion-Viens ready for Nascar Pinty’s Series 1st race at CTMP
NEW SEASON, NEW PARTNERS FOR SIMON DION-VIENS AND HIS NO. 37 CASTROL CANADA
Simon Dion-Viens to start his 2019 season this weekend at CTMP!
Simon Dion-Viens will be on the track this weekend for the first race of the 2019 Nascar Pinty’s Canada season. The event will take place on the very fast circuit of Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, located in the suburbs of Toronto. The Kamouraska native will be driving the no.37 car of Jacombs Racing team under the colors of Castrol Canada, in collaboration with Bestbuy Auto Parts, Rousseau Metal inc. and Impact Ford.
“All members of my race team and I can’t wait to get back on track. I had the chance to conclude excellent partnership agreements over the winter and participated in several promotional events for my sponsors. I’m ready now to get back behind the wheel”, says Dion-Viens with great enthusiasm.
I can’t wait to compete with the best Canadian stock car drivers and I know it will be very competitive as always in Nascar Pinty’s but we are ready”, explains Dion-Viens.
Dion-Viens is approaching this new season with a lot of optimism; “I’m lucky to have great teammates and partners. During the season, my goal is to be able to ride at the forefront among the best drivers in the series. For this weekend, I am very confident the no.37 CastrolCanada, BestbuyPiècesd’auto / RousseauMetal / ImpactFord will be fast and competitive.”
The action will begin this Saturday May 18 at 11:55 for practice. The qualification will take place at 5:15pm and the green flag will be waved on May 19 at 1:30pm. Note that the race will be broadcast on TSN and RDS.
