Daniel Morad back with Alegra Motorsports in Blancpain GT World Challenge America

ALEGRA MOTORSPORTS TO ENTER 2 PORSCHE 911 GT3 R. ONE IN PRO-CLASS AND ONE IN PRO-AM CLASS

Daniel Morad is to have a busy schedule this coming season. Already competing in IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Series with MONTAPLAST by Land Motorsport’s Audi R8 LMS, Daniel and Alegra Motorsports confirmed they are to reunite in 2019 to race in the Blancpain GT World Challenge America(formally known as the Pirelli World Challenge).

Alegra Motorsports is the team with whom he won the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada in 2016. The following year, they stepped up to race in IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Series and won the Rolex 24 in the GTD class driving a Porsche 911 GT3 R.

The team announced on their website Daniel is to share the driving duties with Team Principal Carlos de Quesada in one of the team’s Porsche 911 GT3 R in the Pro-Am class.

The second car will be driven by Wolf Henzler and Marco Holzer in the Pro-class.

The first race of 11 scheduled for this season’s Blancpain GT World Challenge America will be held at Circuit of the Americas on the weekend of March 1-3. You can have a chance to see Daniel and Alegra Motorsports in action as the Blancpain GT World Challenge America is to come to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, in Bowmanville(Ontario), for the Castrol Victoria Day Speed Fest May 17-19.
