Peter Giddings(1940-2019)
A TRUE GENTLEMAN AND AMBASSADOR OF VINTAGE RACING
It is with great sadness that I have learned the passing of Peter Giddings on January 6th from a long battle with prostate cancer.

For those of us visiting Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant, we can remember Mr. Giddings has an absolute gentleman with such a great heart.
I had the pleasure of speaking with him this past summer at Le Sommet des Légendes at Le Circuit and he had so many great stories.

Over the years, whenever he was on the track, I would always watch out for him as he drove one of his cars. This year, he drove an Alfa Romeo Typo C and you could see how much he still enjoyed it.

I will always remember him coming up the hill at corner 2 and literally drifting his Alfa Romeo on its narrow tires. I can only imagine how he felt inside at the time… Pure joy, I am certain.

Rest in Peace Mr. Giddings and thank you for the memories.
