Anthony Simone to drive the Alianza-Gilbert Motorsports LMP3 in this year’s IMSA Prototype Challenge
It has been known for a while within IMSA Prototype Challenge although it is well worth mentioning Anthony Simone will be back at the wheel of an LMP3 machine.
Alianza Motorsports and Gilbert Motorsports joined forces to become Alianza-Gilbert Motorstports.
Alianza Motorsports and Anthony worked together last summer during IMSA Mobil1 Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
For the first round, at Daytona International Speedway, the team will run the one Norma N30 Nissan LMP3. Should all come together, the team plans a second entry for the second race on the calendar at Sebring in March.
Confirmed for the first race as a teammate to Anthony is Jason Bell. Bell has competed in several form of motorsport. In this past season, he drove an Audi R8 GT4 LMS in the Pirelli World Challenge.
